Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error correction protocols for industrial quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cryptography projects
- Architect hybrid cloud-quantum computing infrastructure
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum gate designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum decoherence mitigation
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
