Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit entanglement and superposition principles
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor designs
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and simulation use cases
- Document quantum system specifications and publish research findings
- Mentor junior quantum researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and topological qubits
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
