Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems achieving fault-tolerant operations by 2026
- Design hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial deployment
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum cloud service integration
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Certification in quantum machine learning frameworks
