Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits for commercial applications in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks
- Architect secure quantum communication protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallelization
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government-level clearance
