Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome decoherence and thermal management challenges
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era threats
- Translate complex quantum concepts into actionable business roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with proven qubit coherence >100Ξs
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Mastery of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance computing
- Ability to communicate quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
