Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-correction systems for 2026-era computational demands
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with governments and Fortune 500 companies on national quantum security initiatives
- Author patents and white papers defining quantum computing standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms with demonstrated fault-tolerance results
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Security clearance eligibility for national quantum projects
