Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to build quantum processors
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum hardware architectures
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical systems
