Responsibilities
- Design quantum error correction protocols for 1M+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for financial modeling
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography applications
- Architect cryogenic quantum processor infrastructure
- Validate quantum supremacy benchmarks in simulated environments
- Partner with AI teams to create quantum-enhanced machine learning models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting qubit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit simulation
- Experience with cryogenic engineering below 20mK
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement in practical systems
- Track record of scaling quantum systems from lab to production
