Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum computing architectures for scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum solutions with classical computing environments
- Research and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Ensure quantum system security through advanced cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Develop quantum error correction methodologies for practical deployment
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum algorithms, or quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects in agile environments
