Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputers
- Develop patentable quantum IP for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and publish breakthrough research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum control protocols
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
