Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities
- Develop cryogenic control systems for qubit stabilization at millikelvin temperatures
- Create quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Collaborate with materials scientists to optimize superconducting qubit fabrication
- Research quantum algorithms for cryptography and simulation applications
- Document architecture specifications and validate system performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
