Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical system integration
- Research emerging quantum technologies and assess commercial viability
- Define security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit design and control systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum error correction
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical audiences
