Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithms for practical use cases
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Conduct research on quantum supremacy applications in cryptography and AI
- Create technical documentation and patents for novel quantum systems
- Partner with industry leaders to define quantum computing standards for 2026
- Oversee quantum hardware integration with classical computing infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
