Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum hardware with classical computing systems
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum software development
- Document quantum system specifications and implementation methodologies
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
