Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Design error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% quantum fidelity
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Secure $5M+ R&D funding through technical proposals and investor presentations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum entanglement or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Track record of leading quantum projects with Fortune 500 clients
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Strong patents portfolio in quantum computing (3+ granted patents)
