Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing frameworks for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Design hybrid quantum-classical systems for enterprise deployment
- Collaborate with R&D to advance quantum hardware capabilities
- Develop security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Present technical roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Drive innovation through patent development and academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience securing federal or enterprise quantum computing contracts
