Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead quantum security protocols against emerging cryptographic threats
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Create quantum machine learning pipelines for predictive analytics
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum development ecosystems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years building quantum algorithms on platforms like IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or applied quantum computing
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm, Grover's algorithm, and quantum annealing
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation
