Job Description
Join Nexus 2026 Labs at the forefront of technological evolution! We're seeking a visionary Quantum Computing Architect to design next-generation systems that will redefine computing paradigms. As a pioneer in 2026's tech landscape, you'll architect solutions leveraging quantum mechanics to solve previously impossible problems in cryptography, AI, and materials science.
Our dynamic team operates at the intersection of physics, computer science, and practical application. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, industry disruptors, and government agencies to prototype quantum-resistant infrastructure. This is your chance to shape the digital backbone of tomorrow's world.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise optimization challenges
- Lead quantum security protocols resistant to Shor's algorithm attacks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and error correction
- Translate quantum computational advantages into industry-specific solutions
- Publish research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# with 20+ quantum circuits deployed
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Security clearance eligibility for government collaborations
