Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and industry trends through continuous research
- Present technical strategies to executive stakeholders and secure funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster a culture of scientific excellence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced systems design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, qubit manipulation, and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience leading complex technical projects with measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills for translating quantum concepts to diverse audiences
