Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployments
- Create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research
- Drive quantum security standards for critical infrastructure
- Architect cloud-native quantum platforms with 99.99% uptime SLAs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems or error-corrected architectures
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D projects
