Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting 2026's industrial-scale problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum computing solutions for deep-space exploration
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm design
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in low-level hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL)
- Deep understanding of Shor's, Grover's, and VQE algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration
