Responsibilities
- Design and optimize fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and hybrid quantum-classical interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in prototyping quantum systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum algorithm development
- Translate complex quantum concepts into scalable engineering solutions
- Drive innovation in quantum networking and distributed quantum computing
- Contribute to patents and publish research in leading quantum journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated leadership in complex technical projects
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket)
