Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing roadmap targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead R&D for fault-tolerant quantum processors and error correction systems
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery acceleration
- Manage $50M+ quantum computing infrastructure budget and vendor partnerships
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Mentor next generation quantum engineers through our 2026 Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years experience in quantum computing or superconducting systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record leading quantum hardware development teams
- Security clearance for classified government quantum projects
- Fluency in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum control systems (10mK environments)
