Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Lead research publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum machine learning
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with physicists, engineers, and mathematicians
