Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects in cryogenic environments
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish research in top-tier journals and secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Partner with industry leaders to identify quantum computing market opportunities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Publication record in quantum computing research
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
