Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing tech stacks
- Publish cutting-edge research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of quantum innovation
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Develop partnerships with quantum hardware providers to optimize system performance
- Translate quantum computing concepts into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience managing R&D teams and project lifecycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
