Responsibilities
- Architect and lead quantum algorithm research initiatives targeting 2026+ computational milestones
- Oversee development of quantum error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant systems
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-optimized machine learning models
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Translate theoretical quantum computing advances into commercial applications
- Secure external funding through NSF, DoE, and private venture grants
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record leading complex R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Familiarity with quantum annealing platforms (D-Wave, Rigetti) and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Experience securing federal research grants ($1M+ preferred)
