Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead a team of 8-12 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum Information
- Partner with NASA on quantum-secured space communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ members
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum simulators
- Track record of securing government research funding
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
