Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Oversee experimental quantum hardware testing and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on next-gen quantum networking architectures
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposium 2026
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DARPA grant funding
- Develop patentable quantum-resistant encryption methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent research experience
- 3+ years managing quantum computing R&D teams
- Published work in Nature Quantum or comparable journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and topological quantum computing
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
