As a key member of our Future Technologies division, you'll lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptography, optimize quantum machine learning models, and accelerate drug discovery simulations. Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Manage team of 5-7 quantum researchers and hardware engineers
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum machine learning frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature conferences
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Develop roadmap for quantum-hybrid computing integration by 2028
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM, Rigetti)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Track record of securing NSF/DARPA quantum computing grants
- Strong Python/C++ programming with scientific computing libraries
