Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experimental trials on next-generation quantum processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Publish findings in Nature and IEEE Quantum journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics principles
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control
- Track record of securing research grants from NSF or DARPA
