What you'll achieve:

Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms with error correction for fault-tolerant systems
- Optimize qubit architectures for hybrid classical-quantum computing models Collaborate with hardware teams to design next-generation quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and simulation
- Secure $2M+ in research grants through compelling proposals
- Maintain active presence at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
