Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems

- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in quantum computing
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction techniques
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Strong background in linear algebra and statistical mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion systems
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
