Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical ML models
- Publish in Nature Physics/Quantum journals and present at IEEE QCE
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum circuit optimization
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST quantum research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit/Cirq/PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing government or industry research funding
