Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance and error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy demonstrations and practical quantum applications
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science breakthroughs
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Familiarity with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure Quantum)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
