Responsibilities

- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at global quantum conferences
- Partner with government agencies to address national security quantum challenges
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Track record of securing $1M+ in quantum research grants
- Clearance for Department of Energy/NIST quantum security projects
