Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical enterprise applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction techniques for scalable quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with physics, AI, and materials science teams
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Translate theoretical quantum models into production-ready implementations
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5 years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
