Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware including superconducting circuits and photonic systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate quantum processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum error correction methodologies to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
