Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences like IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop quantum software stacks using Qiskit, Q#, and Cirq frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum computing curriculum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory
- Proven experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
