Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Simulate quantum systems using advanced software frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs for near-term quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical languages (Python, C++)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
