Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum circuits on superconducting platforms
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure research funding through government and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and algorithms
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, PyTorch Quantum)
- Ability to work in highly interdisciplinary teams
