Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting fault-tolerant systems for 2026 deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing applications for industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or error correction
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, or ion-trap)
- Strong background in complex mathematical modeling and simulation
- Experience securing DoD/NSF quantum research grants preferred
