Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world cryptography applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-resistant security protocols
- Develop machine learning models optimized for quantum computing architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware gaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor network simulations
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and zero-knowledge proofs
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical research into commercial applications
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies (preferred)
