Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into experimental quantum processors
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive cross-functional innovation with AI/ML teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics with quantum specialization
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with deep understanding of linear algebra and probability
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into commercial applications
- Track record of solving NP-hard problems using quantum heuristics
