Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for commercial deployment
- Optimize qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Simulate quantum systems using AWS Braket and IBM Quantum
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum chip design
- Document research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum principles
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature Quantum or IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
