Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct experimental research on qubit coherence and error correction techniques
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum circuits on real devices
- Publish research in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cryptography, and materials science teams
- Contribute to quantum security protocols for next-gen communication systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Security clearance eligibility (for government-funded projects)
