Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms and protocols for error correction and optimization
- Design and execute quantum circuit simulations on proprietary hardware systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum computing field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of securing research funding and managing complex projects
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
