Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical qubit implementations
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and system architectures
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational complexity
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Published record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research grants or corporate funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
