Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Q#, etc.)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong track record of securing research grants/funding
