Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms solving optimization problems in logistics, finance, and AI
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using topological quantum computing approaches
- Lead cross-functional projects with machine learning engineers to create quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and manage quantum computing internship programs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype next-generation quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong track record of translating theoretical models into working prototypes
